Peanut Butter is my favorite food.

Mikey HATES peanut butter.

I get peanut butter everything and it usually makes him gag.

Although sometimes I don’t mind  his hate for PB…

Like times when I get peanut butter ice cream and don’t have to share.

The reason he hates peanut butter so much is because he ate it out of a grown mans armpit once…

It was for a skit at the camp he went to/worked at/met me at/we fell in love at.

I would hate peanut butter too if I did that.

Now you know why Mikey mostly hates PB.

I say mostly because there is one exception.

Peanut butter cookies and Reese’s Pieces. Those don’t make him gag. They are actually one of his favorite cookies/candies.

These are our favorite peanut butter cookies.

They are really easy and make a HUGE batch. You can bake half the dough and then freeze the rest for a rainy day.

Banana Bread is my favorite bread in the whooollleeee world.

I have devoured many different banana breads and tested lots of banana bread recipes and this is the BEST!

I need you to trust me when I say that this is the best!

Just make this bread.

It’s easy and so delicious.

The bananas and honey make the bread sweet and super moist.

I had never had a Blondie before.

I made these because I was dying to make/eat a blondie, and you know my obsession with all things S’more.

I saw this recipe and had to try it.

I now know that a Blondie is pretty much a cookie in bar form.

They are buttery, gooey and pretty phenomenal.

(Side Note)

Every time I hear the word phenomenal I think of the movie Wedding Crashers.

“Are you kidding me? I love crab cakes! They’re phenomenal”

AND

“You and I both know I’m a phenomenal dancer!”

Mikey says that second quote at least once a week.

It was my birthday on Friday.

It was by far, hands down THE greatest bday of ALL time!

It was more like a birthmonth thanks to my amazing family and friends!

My favorite cake is funfetti.

So I decided to make myself some funfetti birthday cupcakes from scratch.

They were super tasty and really fun to decorate and take pictures of.

I’m not sure if you can tell by the pictures…but…

I got a new camera!!!!!!!!!!

I have the worlds greatest husband. Literally.

Not only did he get me the camera of my dreams. But he surprised me by taking the day off of work and coming home early with a bouquet of flowers and a basket (that he stole, don’t tell) full of all my favorite things!

There were dove chocolates, sour patch kids, peanut butter M&M’s, a pint of Ben and Jerry’s Ice cream, gum, a bottle of wine, and last but not least…a cat toy.

Sometimes I wish that I could bend the truth.

Buuuuuutttt I can’t.

I have THE most guilty conscience.

I want to tell you how this was soooo easy and how it was the most delicious thing ever.

But I made this for a family dinner on Friday, and it was a flop.

I was very distracted. This dish needs your complete attention.

I burnt the first batch of Whiskey caramel sauce and the bottom of the bread pudding was more like scrambled eggs.

Gag.

Literally.
