Happy Valentine’s Day!
I thought I would share a fun and festive recipe with you today!
I have had a bag of the new Marshmallow Crispy Oreo’s in my pantry for about a week and I finally figured out what I wanted to do with them. I decided to stuff them inside an actual Rice Krispie Treat and then put them on a stick.
They turned out well and I can’t wait to pass them out to my friends for Valentine’s Day!

I hope you have a great day filled with lots of Champagne, Chocolate and LOVE.
Recipe: Oreo Stuffed Marshmallow Krispie Hearts
Makes about 20 hearts
Make in 2 separate batches
Ingredients:
8 Cups Marshmallows
12 Cups Rice Krispie Cereal
6 Tablespoons Butter
1 Cup White Chocolate Chips
Sprinkle to decorate & Food coloring
Directions:
You are going to make 2 separate batches of rice krispie treats.
Grease a piece of wax paper on a flat surface and set aside.
Over low/medium heat, melt 1 bag (4 cups) marshmallows and 3 tablespoons butter in a saucepan. Once melted, stir in rice krispie cereal
Press into a flat layer and begin to make next batch of rice krispie treats. Melt butter and marshmallows, mix in cereal and then you can begin.
Take a heart shaped cookie cutter and cut out shape with first batch of rice krispie treats. Place an Oreo in the center and use still warm (2nd batch) rice krispies to press into the cookie cutter. Remove and let cool on a piece of wax paper.
You may want to insert straw or stick while rice krispie is still warm. If the cereal mixture gets too hard at any point you can place it into the microwave for 15-20 seconds.
Once cooled, melt chocolate and add food coloring. Decorate rice krispies with chocolate and sprinkles. Wrap in a baggie and tie with a string and hand them out to your favorite Valentines 🙂
Just wondering, will the rice crispy crush when you insert the stick? I mean, it has to be inserted right in the middle so it goes through the oreo cream, is it? Sorry if this sounds stupid 😀
The rice krispies will crush a bit when you push the stick in. If you can get it between the Oreo that is great. Some of mine didn’t and they stayed on well. If you have a hard time, you can dip the tip of the stick in melted chocolate and then insert it, it will act like glue. Hope this helps!
Oh, thank you very much for the tips! Will try it soon 🙂
You’re SO welcome! Best of luck with them!
